EDAA(REGULATION) - INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: LIBRARIES AND LABORATORIES
LEARNING RESOURCES CENTER
Use of the Vaughn Library and Learning Resources Center with limited checkout privileges is extended to the residents of the College tax district, although children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Checkout privileges are extended to the following:
Students presently enrolled in the College upon presentation of their valid identification card.
Faculty and staff of the College and/or of the University of Texas at Tyler upon presentation of their identification/library card.
Teachers of public and private schools in the College tax district upon presentation of valid identification from their institution.
Students attending institutions of higher education (other than the College) located in the tax district upon presentation of valid identification from their institution.
High school seniors upon presentation of valid identification from their institution.
College alumni upon presentation of appropriate identification.
Holders of a valid Forest Trail Library Consortium ID card in accompaniment with a picture ID.
Vaughn Library and Learning Resources Center will issue special patron passes upon recommendation of the College President or the appropriate vice-president.
Formal instruction in the use of the learning resources center shall be given to all freshmen in the orientation classes. If a class needs special instruction, arrangements may be made one week in advance to bring the class to the learning resources center. The instructor shall contact the dean of learning resources or the director of library services to make arrangements.
