Advanced Placement Examinations
A student attempting to earn high school credit through enrollment in one or more College Board Advanced Placement (AP) courses shall be expected to complete the College Board-developed AP exam for each course.
A student may pay for such exams with a single payment or a four-year plan, or may request financial assistance.
A student not taking the AP exam for any reason shall not be exempt from taking the District alternative exam.
The Superintendent or designee shall monitor and report annually to the Board the AP exam results, the number of students taking the exams, and any reasons students give for not taking the exams. The annual analysis of AP exam results shall be used to make informed decisions regarding instruction in AP courses and student achievement.
