DBA(LOCAL) - EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS AND RESTRICTIONS: CREDENTIALS AND RECORDS
All employees who have earned certificates, endorsements, or degrees of higher rank since the previous school year shall file appropriate documentation with the department of human resources:
An official college transcript showing the highest degree earned and date conferred.
Proof of the certificate or endorsement.
The Superintendent or designee shall ensure that contract personnel possess valid credentials before issuing contracts.
Social Security Number
The District shall not use an employee's social security number as an employee identifier, except for tax purposes [see DC]. In accordance with law, the District shall keep an employee's social security number confidential.
Driver Safety Standards
An employee of the District who is required to drive a District vehicle on District business or in the conduct of his or her duties shall conform to safe driving standards that ensure the safety of students, staff, and other vehicular passengers. Applicants being considered for District positions that also require regular use of a District vehicle in conduct of the essential duties of the position shall be able to demonstrate adherence to prescribed driver safety standards as part of the application. Documentation of driver safety standard adherence shall include a motor vehicle records check with the Department of Public Safety. [See also DHE]
