School Liaison Officers
To implement the District's comprehensive safety programs, the District has entered into an agreement with a local law enforcement agency for school liaison officers. School liaison officers shall provide services consistent with the terms of the agreement, the comprehensive safety programs, and Board policy.
A school liaison officer shall perform duties as described in the agreement and as included in the District improvement plan and the Student Code of Conduct. A school liaison officer shall not be assigned routine classroom discipline or administrative tasks.
All school liaison officers shall receive at least the minimum amount of education and training required by law.
